Can the assignment submission session and exam session be different?

Question

Is it is possible that I submit an assignment in the 2019-2020 session and give an exam in the 2020-2021 session? Or, One has to give the exam in that particular session only in which students submit the assignment? Please clarify this doubt.

    Yes, it can be different if you are not able to appear in the examination for any reason. There is no condition in IGNOU that you have to appear in TEE after submission of assignments.
